Joanne worked on making a structure that would house doves. When in Israel on November 1st, she was intrigued by the small cubbies in the walls of stone that were built specifically to raise doves for both food and Jewish sacrifices.

But, rather than a wall of holes, she stuck with right angles. She made various small spaces on all sides so birds could come and go from in any direction.
