Froebel's Kindergarten
Mason City Study Group
Early On

As shown here, Peggy (above) transformed a Park-gate into the Monument, as represented in the Guide, while Holly constructed a variation of its structure.
In Holly's Life Form, the central supporting piece shows the oblong "lying" flat instead of "sitting" on its long narrow side, so the finished structure has an extra space or window in the middle.
The study group concluded that, "It is so interesting to see the results of placing just one brick differently, as the entire design is affected!"
In addition, many variations of seats, benches, or chairs can be made!...kudos to Froebel for his creativity!
Again, Joanne noted how much she enjoyed seeing so many possibilities of design when using these eight oblongs. She feels that the group has so much more to learn from Gift Four Forms of Knowledge, Beauty and Life. Adding, "We do!"
