Joanne reported that she is so proud of this little girl, age five, that built a cantilevered "dog house" with Gift Four. She pointed out three places a dog could take shelter within the structure. One has to image it is a huge "building" and the dog is small enough to fit in the "carport" like space on the bottom level.

This was the most original and "Wright-like" construction that were built that afternoon by kids ranging in age from 3 to 17. Joanne added, "I didn't necessarily talk about cantilevers, but I did suggest that they find ways to get the most of their 8 block bricks to meet their criteria."

The kids were encouraged to keep revising or transforming their plans until they were satisfied.
